Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung is a Lecturer in the Geology & Geophysics Department, Petroleum Faculty, Petrovietnam University (PVU). He holds a Ph.D. in Geophysics and has professional experience in both academia and the petroleum industry.
His expertise includes seismic interpretation, subsurface geological analysis, reservoir characterization, and basin evaluation for oil and gas applications. At PVU, Dr. Tung is actively involved in teaching, research, and academic collaboration, with research interests closely related to subsurface assessment and storage integrity, which are critical to Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) projects.
