- Học sinh đang học lớp 12 có điểm trung bình học 5 học kỳ đạt tối thiểu 6,5 (trên thang điểm 10) (xem xét kết quả học tập các môn Toán, Vật lý, Hóa học và Tiếng Anh).
- Thí sinh đã tốt nghiệp trung học với điểm trung bình học tập 6 học kỳ đạt tối thiểu 6,5 (trên thang điểm 10) (xem xét kết quả học tập các môn Toán, Vật lý, Hóa học và Tiếng Anh).
2. Xét tuyển theo kết quả thi Đánh giá năng lực của ĐHQG HCM và ĐHQG HN.
3. Xét tuyển theo kết quả thi Đánh giá tư duy của ĐHBK Hà Nội.
4. Xét tuyển dựa trên kết quả thi THPT:

5. Xét tuyển thẳng: Tuyển thẳng đối với sinh viên đang học đại học chính quy thuộc nhóm ngành khoa học - kỹ thuật - công nghệ.
D. Điều kiện học tập chương trình liên kết
- Tất cả các ứng viên cho chương trình liên kết (2 + 3) phải được PVU kiểm tra trình độ tiếng Anh trước khi vào học học kỳ tiếng Anh dự bị và trước khi vào học chương trình chính khóa tại PVU. Sinh viên trước khi vào học chương trình chính khóa (61 tín chỉ đối với chương trình Kỹ thuật Dầu khí, 63 tín chỉ đối với chương trình Kỹ thuật Hóa học và 56 tín chỉ đối với chương trình Khoa học Trái đất/chuyên ngành Địa chất Dầu khí, tại PVU) phải đạt trình độ tiếng Anh bậc 4 theo Khung năng lực ngoại ngữ 6 bậc hoặc tương đương.
- Điều kiện trước khi chuyển tiếp học tập tại NMT, Mỹ: Sinh viên theo học chương trình liên kết (2 + 3) phải có Điểm trung bình chung tích lũy (CGPA) cho số tín chỉ học tại PVU tối thiểu 2.5 trên thang điểm 4.0 và IELTS 6.0 hoặc TOEFL 76 trở lên.
E. Thời gian đăng ký và xét tuyển:
1. Đối với phương án xét tuyển kết quả học tập THPT (Học bạ) và tuyển thẳng sinh viên các trường đại học: Thời gian nhận hồ sơ từ ngày 01 tháng 02 năm 2024, các thí sinh đăng ký xét tuyển xét tuyển online tại địa chỉ: https://by.tn/pvu-hocba
2. Đối với phương án xét tuyển theo kết quả Đánh giá năng lực của ĐHQG HCM, ĐHQG HN và Đánh giá tư duy của Đại học Bách khoa Hà Nội: (từ tháng 4 – 9/2024).
3. Đối với phương án xét tuyển dựa trên kết quả thi THPT: Theo lịch tuyển sinh của Bộ GD&ĐT.
F. Hồ sơ đăng ký xét tuyển:
1. Bản sao công chứng của các văn bản sau:
- Chứng nhận kết quả kỳ thi năng lực của ĐHQGHCM.
- Chứng nhận kết quả thi năng lực của ĐHQGHN.
- Chứng nhận kết quả thi đánh giá tư duy của ĐHBKHN.
- Bản xác nhận hoặc học bạ có kết quả học tập của 05 hoặc 06 học kỳ học THPT.
2. Giấy chứng nhận tốt nghiệp THPT tạm thời (sau khi có kết quả thi THPT) hoặc Giấy chứng nhận tốt nghiệp THPT (bản sao) đối với thí sinh tốt nghiệp THPT từ năm 2023 trở về trước.
3. Bản sao (không công chứng) chứng chỉ IELTS, TOEFL IBT (nếu có).
4. Đối với sinh viên đại học: Hồ sơ gồm có Xác nhận sinh viên của trường ĐH đang theo học; học bạ (bản sao); bảng điểm học ĐH (đến thời điểm đăng ký); Giấy chứng nhận tốt nghiệp THPT (bản sao); chứng chỉ tiếng Anh Quốc tế (nếu có). Trường hợp đang là sinh viên đại học chính quy PVU không yêu cẩu các thủ tục này.
5. Một phong bì đã dán sẵn tem, ghi rõ địa chỉ liên lạc, số điện thoại của thí sinh để Trường thông báo kết quả xét tuyển.
F. Cách xét tuyển: Hội đồng tuyển sinh xem xét các hồ sơ xét tuyển và quyết định.
G. Học phí (dự kiến)
- Ngành Kỹ thuật Dầu khí: Khoảng 77.000.000,00 đồng/sinh viên cho mỗi năm học tập tại PVU (đã bao gồm học phí học tiếng Anh dự bị) và khoảng 9.660 USD/sinh viên cho mỗi năm học tập tại NMT.
- Ngành Kỹ thuật Hóa học: Khoảng 79.000.000,00 đồng/sinh viên cho mỗi năm học tập tại PVU (đã bao gồm học phí học tiếng Anh dự bị) và khoảng 10.239 USD/sinh viên cho mỗi năm học tập tại NMT.
- Ngành Khoa học Trái đất/chuyên ngành Địa chất Dầu khí: Khoảng 72.000.000,00 đồng/sinh viên cho mỗi năm học tập tại PVU (đã bao gồm học phí học tiếng Anh dự bị) và khoảng 10.278 USD/sinh viên cho mỗi năm học tập tại NMT.
- Lưu ý: khi trường được phép tự chủ, học phí sẽ được quy định theo đề án tự chủ được phê duyệt.

Cách thức nộp chứng chỉ tiếng Anh để quy đổi điểm
Thí sinh gửi một bản sao (không công chứng) của chứng chỉ (ngay sau khi đăng ký xét tuyển vào PVU) về Phòng Đào tạo trường theo địa chỉ như trong đề án tuyển sinh, trên bản sao ghi Số báo danh dự thi THPT 2024 (nếu có) và Số CCCD (hoặc số CCCD được cấp tạm khi dự thi THPT 2024) hoặc Số passport. Các thông tin này dùng để xác định đúng thí sinh ứng tuyển vào trường.

- Đối với phương án xét tuyển dựa trên kết quả thi THPT: Theo lịch tuyển sinh của Bộ GD&ĐT.
E. Hồ sơ đăng ký xét tuyển:
1. Bản sao công chứng của một (01) trong số các văn bản sau:
- Chứng nhận kết quả kỳ thi năng lực của ĐHQGHCM.
- Chứng nhận kết quả thi năng lực của ĐHQGHN.
- Chứng nhận kết quả thi đánh giá tư duy của ĐHBKHN.
- Bản xác nhận hoặc học bạ có kết quả học tập của 05 hoặc 06 học kỳ học THPT.
2. Giấy chứng nhận tốt nghiệp THPT tạm thời (sau khi có kết quả thi THPT) hoặc Giấy chứng nhận tốt nghiệp THPT (bản sao) đối với thí sinh tốt nghiệp THPT từ năm 2023 trở về trước.
3. Bản sao (không công chứng) chứng chỉ IELTS, TOEFL IBT (nếu có).

G. Học phí (dự kiến)
Học phí được tính theo tín chỉ. Học phí trung bình mỗi tháng học của chương trình chính quy đại trà được thực hiện theo Quy định về học phí của Chính phủ (Nghị định 97/2023/NĐ-CP 31/12/2023 của Chính phủ).
Lưu ý: khi Trường được phép tự chủ, học phí sẽ được quy định theo đề án tự chủ được phê duyệt.

Petrovietnam University (PVU), in collaboration with the Vietnam Society for Rock Mechanics (VSRM) and the International Society for Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering (ISRM), successfully hosted the 12th Asian Rock Mechanics Symposium (ARMS12) on November 23-24 in Hanoi.
The conference theme, "Rock Mechanics and Engineering – Contemporary Issues," highlighted the stability of structures in sectors such as Hydropower, Transport, Mining, Geological Disasters, and notably, Oil and Gas Extraction.
Prominent attendees included Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Thao, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA); Prof. Reşat Ulusay, President of the ISRM; Dr. Suseno Kramadibrata, ISRM Vice President for Asia; Prof. Sergio A. B. Fontoura, former ISRM Vice President for Latin America; and Dr. Mahendra Singh, President of the Indian Society for Rock Mechanics. The conference drew nearly 100 delegates, including experts, scientists, and lecturers from Vietnam and internationally.
Keynote speakers from various countries, including the USA, Norway, Japan, South Korea, China, India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Brazil, and Mongolia, shared their expertise in rock mechanics and engineering. The event served as a valuable platform for Vietnamese and international scientists and professionals to exchange experiences and technology transfers in the field of rock mechanics and to steer research towards addressing contemporary challenges.
The opening ceremony featured speeches by Prof. Reşat Ulusay and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Thao, emphasizing the importance of rock mechanics in socio-economic development and scientific progress. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Vice Rector of PVU, expressed his delight in co-hosting the symposium, hoping it would foster significant contributions to the country's economic development and establish future international research collaborations.
The conference included scientific reports and discussions on the latest applications in prioritized fields of rock engineering. PVU researchers presented notable papers, such as "Comparative Models for Fracture Development in the Oligocene Layers at Bach Ho Field" and "AI Applications in Predicting Mechanical Drilling Speeds in Oil and Gas Wells."
Dr. Bùi Thanh Bình, Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department at PVU, commended the organization of the event and the valuable contributions of PVU's faculty. He highlighted the nearly 40 research papers presented internationally by the department since early 2022, reflecting PVU's commitment to scientific advancement in the oil and gas sector.
Overall, the ARMS12 served as a testament to the continuous evolution and significance of the Vietnam Society for Rock Mechanics since its first scientific workshop in 1984, marking a significant milestone in the field of rock mechanics and engineering.
