FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT
In recent years, with more focus on the production quality and efficient use of metals and alloys for sustainable development, research and application activities in corrosion and related issues have made significant contributions to Vietnam’s industry, business, education, training, national defence and security.
In the continuation of its scientific tradition, the Vietnam Corrosion and Metal Protection Association (VICORRA) in coordination with the PetroVietnam University (PVU), with the consent of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) and the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), will hold the 5th National Conference, themed “Corrosion and Metal Protection for Energy Development.”
This Conference is an important event for nationwide experts and institutions to exchange their knowledge, experiences and information about research and applications in the field of corrosion, metal protection and related issues, especially for the energy project. This is also an opportunity for our foreign colleagues involved in collaboration with Vietnamese counterparts to share the results of cooperation and to orientate future cooperation.
The Conference is going to be held in Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province, one of the most well-known national oil and gas extraction and refinery centres, an energy and heavy industry area combined with big marine ports and famous tourist destination of our country.
The Organizing Committee cordially invites all interested colleagues and institutions to participate in the Conference. Your attendance will be a great contribution to the success of the Conference.
Phát triển đội ngũ giảng viên chất lượng cao có ý nghĩa rất lớn và mang tính quyết định đến sự phát triển của Đại học Dầu khí Việt Nam (PVU) trong tương lai, phù hợp với định hướng phát triển mà Tập đoàn Dầu khí Việt Nam đã đề ra.
Với mục tiêu đó, bên cạnh kiến thức chuyên môn vững vàng thì cán bộ giảng dạy cần phải thành thạo các kỹ năng về sư phạm và phương pháp giảng dạy đại học. Nhận thấy tầm quan trọng của việc đó Ban giám hiệu Trường đại học Dầu khí Việt Nam đã giao trách nhiệm cho Trung tâm Bồi dưỡng Nâng Cao tổ chức khoá học “Phương pháp & kỹ năng giảng dạy đại học” cho đội ngũ giảng viên của Trường trong hai ngày 23 và 24/05/2017.
Khóa học được tổ chức tại hội trường lớn của PVU, do TS. Tống Xuân Tám (Đại học Sư Phạm TP. Hồ Chí Minh) trực tiếp giảng dạy. Với vốn kiến thức sâu rộng cùng kinh nghiệm thực tiễn phong phú, giảng viên đã làm cho các nội dung về phương pháp giảng dạy đại học trở nên sinh động và dễ hiểu hơn. Khoá học được đánh giá rất cao bởi những nội dung thực tế góp phần tháo gỡ được những vướng mắc trong công tác giảng dạy của các giảng viên. Bên cạnh nội dung lý thuyết, khoá học còn dành một phần lớn thời gian để các học viên thực hành thao giảng, thông qua đó có thể góp ý và rút kinh nghiệm lẫn nhau nhằm giúp tăng cường kỹ năng giảng dạy.

Theo TS. Tống Xuân Tám, do có sự chuẩn bị và đầu tư kỹ càng hỗ trợ cho học viên chương trình đào tạo đã kết thúc và thành công tốt đẹp, các giảng viên của trường Đại học Dầu Khí Việt Nam đều đã lĩnh hội được những kiến thức quý báu và hữu ích áp dụng vào công tác giảng dạy thực tế.
