Reportedly, the organizers had received 80 articles by researchers, scientists at home and abroad (England, Japan, Korea) from different fields such as petroleum, chemical, materials and heavy industries...Especially, there were 39 outstanding articles chosen to be published in the Journal of Science and Technology, under Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.

The discussed topics were Corrosion in the natural environments (corrosion in the atmosphere, corrosion in soil, sea water); Corrosion in industry (energy, oil and gas, construction...); Technology of electrochemical protection and corrosion inhibition;

Protective coatings (coatings, metal and alloy coatings, nano coatings...); Methods and equipment for corrosion and electrochemical research; electrochemistry, materials, and relating problems...

In particular, the conference provided many new expertise contents such as coatings incorporating with nano materials, graphene, non-destructive corrosion assessment methods, online corrosion tracking systems, and especial manufacture and application of a wide range of protection materials and technologies.

Besides, the conference is also a chance for delegates to understand more about PVU with its profound mission of educating and training high quality human resources, incorporating Petro’s scientific research, education and training into practice. It was so proud of PVU’s lecturers and students’ learning achievement and scientific research despite its 7 years of establishment. 100% of the 1st course graduates had jobs, 70% of 2nd course graduates had jobs suitable with their majors before the graduation ceremony, highly valued by recruiters.
