Geological Engineering
GE Labs Overview
All Geological Engineering labs are mainly used for teaching undergraduate GE courses whereas three of them, Seismic Data Processing Laboratory, Geophysical Laboratory and Petrology Laboratory, are also used for faculty and student research.
The GE Program operates 6 teaching laboratories:
1. Exhibition Laboratory of Petrology,
2. Sample Processing Laboratory,
3. Petrology Laboratory,
4. PVU-Schlumberger Office
5. Seismic Data Processing Laboratory
6. Geophysics Laboratory

As part of the Geological Engineering curriculum at PetroVietnam University (PVU), students of Class K12GE completed a six-day field geology practicum across four provinces in Central and Southern Vietnam. This journey, both physically and intellectually demanding, provided students with not only technical knowledge but also invaluable personal growth.
