PetroVietnam University has 68 staffs, including teaching staff with 02 Assoc. Professors, 20 PhDs, and 19 MSc. In the development plan of the university, lecturers have opportunities to attend intensive English courses to achieve IELTS band 6 or its equivalency and practical training courses at the member companies of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group. In addition, lecturers will be sent to top-ranking petroleum universities in the US to develop their expertise and teaching methodology for using English as a medium of instruction in their specialized courses.
